Seriously what's the big deal about fighting in hockey?

I think fighting in hockey is good. but they should do like safety fighting...like a code for fighting in the NHL...so it's safe... Players should get kicked out of the game for really bad hits though...like hits to the head or knee shots...hits that could permanently injure a player...but fighting is part of the game and alot of fans really enjoy...watching a good scrap...don't you agree? but sometimes it can get out of hand and they stop playing hockey and just fight all the time...
